Slap/Pop gets a facelift!

User Image (Check me out!)

After carefully thinking over the decision, and then completely abandoning previous careful thought, I decided to go ahead and switch the theme over to a three-column layout, and so far I'm enjoying it. It's not quite as visually slick as the Drupify theme was, but it's not too far behind.

I've made a few changes to the typography from this theme to get some of the text style from Drupify, as I like sans-serif fonts much more, it's a bit easier for me to read. I've also swapped out some of the widgets for different sizes/colors, including the Twitter badge (which is now just text), the BlogRush widget, and the MyBlogLog Recent Visitors widget.

Made a few other changes as well, moved some JScript code down to the footer (more needing to be moved still), and then have to implement Feedburner (hurry up module coder guy on that Drupal 6 module! hehe), put in new photos in the random image header (probably will put in my own photos, once I decide what to do).

Overall, I like it, and there's still some tweaks left for sure... But what do you think? If you saw it before with the more candy-like theme, which one do you prefer? Thoughts? Suggestions? Comments would be greatly appreciated!

Hi!

Having fun? :) Is this an Andreas Vicklund theme? Looks better than Drupify.

How'd you manage to put the EntreCard script in a block? We tried adding a block and then copy pasting it directly but nothing showed (full HTML). Then we put the script between PHP tags but drupal spewed parsing errors.
