Promotion is hard work, and blogging has suffered.

My band, Low Flyer, is playing The Boardwalk tonight in Orangevale, and as a result, I've been in a mad obsession of promoting. Myspace, Twitter, Fubar, Facebook, you name it, I've been pimping on it.

I've really been trying hard to not just blog regularly, but also to keep up on Entrecard drops and whatnot, but as a result, for the better part of the past few days I've ignored Entrecard, and haven't even really thought about new content, other than the golf story from the other day, which was pretty much just me bored and needing a break from Myspace.

But hopefully I'll fall back into a more regular blogging/ad pattern once tonight is through. It's a huge show for us, and I've been longing to play The Boardwalk since before I moved to Sacramento, and was in my first serious band in Redding, ToeFinger5 (silly name, silly reason, but that later). So tonight is a sort of culmination and high point in my music performing career, as stupid as it sounds, but tonight means a lot to me, to the upstart rocker kid in me up in BFE Redding, wanting to make it to the "big city".

We'll see how it goes, and add me on Twitter--username is tf5_bassist. I'll be Tweeting and TwitPic'ing the whole time if I can.

Entrecard, I'll be back for you after Mother's day, you'd better fear it. ;-)
